About the Author Disobedience All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Disobedience Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. Disobedience For I know that in me (that is in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Disobedience And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. Disobedience Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in our sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you. Obedience In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. Obedience Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Obedience Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ. |
